Stand that comes with tv to make it free standing isnt strong enough to properly support tv. TV sits 1/4 in lower on right side which is heavier. No adjustments on basic low quality stand either. Recommend wall mount due to this.
Great picture. Would not go bigger. High Def channels are crisp but standard nonHigh Def channels are more noticeably poor.
Bought the PS3 3D glases to use with it and the 3D quality is amazing. I can see the flicker with the glasses and that gives me a migraine but noone else notices it.
Sony BluRay player and 5.1 surround sound purchased too. Dont like the default settings where it kept flasing the audio settings every 1 to 5 mins on tv. This was annoying but after the first movie I figured out it was a setting in the Sony BluRay player.
Wireless internet is awesome and love having on tv even though I have it on the BluRay player too. Internet was quick just as on other devices. Inital update was large.

Great TV. Sony is always on top with realistic colors. Other look plasticy and have too many gimicks and no substance. Great picture with no tearing, pixelating or blur.
The internet side of this TV leaves alot to be desired, but I did not buy a TV to surf the wb or stream content. Who in the world wants that in a TV. I have a pc and multiple other boxes for that. And so should everyone else.
From a TV ,I want a great picture and plenty of connections. And this TV really delivers on those fronts.
Also, people. Stop giving a TV bad reviews because you want to stream Netfix and other stuff. TVs are for viewing. Rokus and other devices are for streaming.

Can't beat picture quality

Upgraded from a 8 year old Sony(KF-50WE610).
The one thing that I wish the tv had is more connections for stereo and composite hookups. HDMI is nice but Not everything has it if you have old game systems. Had to get a new cable box to get HDMI hook up.
The Tv auto changes for signal input. Nice feature as to not have to fumble through options.
WiFi has a horrible signal strength. One room over and very low. As compared to computer and phone. Netflix option on tv is nice. I haven't gotten a chance to try the internet option yet but will get to it eventually.
The picture is awesome. I have always been partial to Sony. After looking at several different brands and not liking reviews. Or in person the picture looks Neon or cartoon like.
The Sony line has the better picture quality to me. Use the Lucas THX picture setup and get the best pic out of your TV.
Watching sports is deffinitely nice. Even with the TV's own digital turner. Even has it's own Guide for Channels after you auto tune the channels. Built in i-manual for learning TV has been usefull.
Went with this model over the one down for picture engine not the 3D(240hz with 480motionflow). As I can't watch a 3D movie at home without getting a headache.
If getting a stand table type unit to go with. If it doesn't have a mount and you want to place on top. It needs to be at least thirty inches tall. At least from couch veiw. Pedestal is a low mount with Tv.

Love at first site:-)Upgrade from 5 year old Samsung,46 inch.Stunning picture,ease of use.If You upgrade from old TV,look no further.TV set work right out of the box,after internet set up and some picture tweak(for my preference).Make sure your router is DLNA compliant and fast enough for streaming,do not blame TV

If you make an online purchase of a deliverable item, a Customer Service Representative will contact you, after the order has been processed, to schedule your delivery.
Services included in Basic Delivery:
- 3-Hour Window: The delivery driver will call on the morning of the delivery, between 6:30am and 8:30am, to provide you with a 3-hour window for delivery. Now you can plan the rest of your day with our three-hour delivery window, and feel confident that you won't miss a meeting, errand, or appointment!
- 40-Minute Call-Ahead Service: The delivery team will call you approximately forty minutes before they arrive at your home, so there is no need to wait at home all day!
- Unpack, level and test appliances. Some exclusions may apply. See Delivery Details below for more information.
- Install icemaker prior to delivery. Complete ice hookups additional charge.
- Partial icemaker line hookup, provided water valve is directly behind refrigerator. Additional fees may apply.
- Switch Refrigerator/Dryer door prior to delivery
- Hook up h.h. gregg electrical cord and dryer venting. Purchased separately.
- Normal gas hookup, provided shut off valve is directly behind the unit. Additional charges may apply. h.h. gregg does not install gas appliances in Tennessee or Alabama
- Removal of boxes and packing materials
- Removal or movement of old appliances, electronics and fitness equipment within the home, at the time of the original delivery, on a one for one basis. h.h. gregg will not remove or move old furniture.
