The TV is great. Once set up, the Internet is easy to access and all the Pre-set apps are wonderful. The things I don't like about it - the 3D is not that impressive and the glasses are very expensive ($80/ pair) the sound quality is not good, but with the depth of the TV (it's only about 2" deep) that is to be expected. Overall a good product and priced relatively well for a seemingly high-end product.

Just got this tv to replace my old out of date Sony KDL 46V5100 and I will say its the best thing I ever done. Design of the Tv along with the Picture Quality and deep blacks is simply amazing. 3D makes you feel like your part of the movie and the tv has more apps and widgets you could ever need or have the time for. Simply exceptional. I am a veteran techy. After years of experience and research I can say this tv is worth every penny and then some. Comparing it to the XBR, I purchased this one. I own a 9 year old 42 in plasma Sony XBR900 that was $10,000 plus a $500 wall bracket. Still works and still get many compliments while power is on/off. Although this tv does not appear to have a Rolex appearance it is what is under the hood that counts. 3D is amazing. Gaming and movies are nice. Many options. Wigets are a plus. Keep in mind to acheive max performance one must have the hdtv, blu-ray player (ps3), hd audio system, hdmi cords and hd service provider. Make sure your hd/3d settings are correct in the tv and blu-ray player. The 3d glasses are additional but worth it. The speakers in tv are average, however, sufficient. Remember, larger is not nessessarily better. Purchase an hdtv that is appropriate for the room your selecting. Quality is better than size. In many ways this tv is 10 times better than my XBR900. In, 5 years or less this tv will be a dinosaur since tech moves fast for better products. Keep an eye out for the ultra HDTV's. 4000 by 2000 lines of rez. Won't be long and many people will be using their tv's as a social media platform in everyday use. Buy it, you know you want it!

Worth it!

I bought this TV over two months ago, and I love it. One of the best Tvs out there (except for the XBR line). I love the TV guide, internet, apps, UI, remote, and picture. The 3D is really great also. The only cons are the sound (every LED TV has bad sound no matter what they tell you, the TVs are to thin for real speakers) and sometimes its slow to load up the internet media but I don't expect it to be like a computer.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Worth it

This model delivers the highest quality picture one can expect at an affordable price. If you are an internet or netflix user, this tv is the one for you. It found my wireless network and connected seamlessly with it. The only thing I would suggest is to purchase a Sony Sound Bar system to make the viewing and listening experience complete.

- 3-Hour Window: The delivery driver will call on the morning of the delivery, between 6:30am and 8:30am, to provide you with a 3-hour window for delivery. Now you can plan the rest of your day with our three-hour delivery window, and feel confident that you won't miss a meeting, errand, or appointment!
- 40-Minute Call-Ahead Service: The delivery team will call you approximately forty minutes before they arrive at your home, so there is no need to wait at home all day!

- Install icemaker prior to delivery. Complete ice hookups additional charge.
