We purchased this TV to replace our 4 yr old 42" Visio. WOW!! The HD quality is terrific and the clarity of the picture is stupendous.
Since we already had another universal wall mount installed, we opted to install the tv ourselves.
One comment I have for Samsung...if we could afford this TV, the least you could do is include the universal $3 screws that fit the back of your TV for using other wall mounts. We went to our local hardware store and thankfully they had M8 screws; however, we had to do a lot of cutting & filing to get screws to fit.
Aside from that, setup was VERY easy and the TV itself was lighter than the 42" unit.
We love this TV.

I wish the smart tv apps were better... It definitely is a bit disappointing. The swivel base on this model is a bit heavier and sturdier than the newer model, which seemed to be constructed of cheap plastic. The volume seems low-ish, but not real bad. Besides, with such a nice picture, surround sound would be an awesome addition!

Samsung 60 1080p 120Hz LED HDTV requires the use of a VESA (Video Electronics Standards Association) wall mount bracket (properly installed) that is rated to support 80 pounds. This is the standard wall mount, with prices starting at $99.99Answered on 11/28/2011 by Community Answer from NoneA:
We have a Costco universal wall mount, which was already professionally installed on our wall and recalled the max TV size for this wall mount was a 60". We took our old 42" down ourselves and the brackets worked on this tv. The only problem was that Samsung does NOT include screws for other brackets so you have to find M8 screws. As the purchased screws were longer than needed, they had to be cut down to about 1" and the rough edges needed to be filed down. There was a lot of back & forth of grinding & filing in order to get them to fit properly. We also needed to widen the bracket holes to fit the screws (minor). Samsung also provides "plugs" to put between the tv & the bracket to allow other manufacturer's brackets to fit properly. If using another wall mount, make sure it's a universal wall mount and highly recommend checking the specs on the wall bracket to make sure it could hold this size & weight TV.
