It does take a bit to get familiar with which cycle to use etc. There are so many to choose from! I "enjoyed" watching my new washer instead of the Olympics! Weird, but this is one cool washer! It is quite a reach to the bottom for small items. I'm 5'7". I wasn't sure if I would like the pull out detergent dispenser, but it hasn't been a problem. And adding an item after the cycle begins isn't difficult either. I really am glad I got a top load. Those with the front load have to keep the door open and WASH their washer! Oh, this machine has a APP! It allows Samsung to discover what might be off on the appliance. Cool!

The salesman sold me on this top load product based upon last years model that was rank number one in consumer reports. I was (and still am) skeptical with the drum design because of the continuos problems I had with my old (6yrs) Whirlpool Cabrio model. The drum would not balance the load no matter how many times I had a repair man look at it. To make matters worse, the Samsung unit that was intially delivered in late June 2012 started to leak two weeks after using it. The leak was at the connection where the plastic elbow attaches to the pump. There was a crack that appeared from the vibration of the drum spinning. Although HH Gregg replaced it with a brand new unit I am still undecided as to whether or not I have made a wise investment.

I was the recent owner of a front load washer, which broke down 2 times in 1 week. I shopped around for another front loader and was surprised when I found this top load washer. It's deep and I have no problem washing my bedding, which was a little difficult in my previous washer. It does have an alarm when the cycle is finished, but in my house it's sometimes hard to hear. Love that it displays the time of the cycle on the console, which makes up for the alarm.

My dryer quit and I decided to purchase a new set (combo) because I had a front-load washer and hated it! I have had this one not quite a month and love it thus far! I am just excited to have a top loader once again and love all the options it offers!

I'm suprised that you only got 4 years service from your Maytags. In any case with typically usage you can expect 8-10 years sevice from the Samsung models.Answered on 5/16/2013 by Community Answer from None

If you make an online purchase of a deliverable item, a Customer Service Representative will contact you, after the order has been processed, to schedule your delivery.
Services included in Basic Delivery:
- 3-Hour Window: The delivery driver will call on the morning of the delivery, between 6:30am and 8:30am, to provide you with a 3-hour window for delivery. Now you can plan the rest of your day with our three-hour delivery window, and feel confident that you won't miss a meeting, errand, or appointment!
- 40-Minute Call-Ahead Service: The delivery team will call you approximately forty minutes before they arrive at your home, so there is no need to wait at home all day!
- Unpack, level and test appliances. Some exclusions may apply. See Delivery Details below for more information.
- Install icemaker prior to delivery. Complete ice hookups additional charge.
- Partial icemaker line hookup, provided water valve is directly behind refrigerator. Additional fees may apply.
- Switch Refrigerator/Dryer door prior to delivery
- Hook up h.h. gregg electrical cord and dryer venting. Purchased separately.
- Normal gas hookup, provided shut off valve is directly behind the unit. Additional charges may apply. h.h. gregg does not install gas appliances in Tennessee or Alabama
- Removal of boxes and packing materials
- Removal or movement of old appliances, electronics and fitness equipment within the home, at the time of the original delivery, on a one for one basis. h.h. gregg will not remove or move old furniture.
- We cannot disassemble old units or remove stair banister or door frames to remove old appliances.
- Gregg Appliances, Inc. CANNOT be held responsible for any damage to property during removal of old products.
