Dennis L. May is president, chief executive officer and director of hhgregg, a leading appliance, electronics and furniture retailer with 229 brick-and-mortar stores in addition to hhgregg.com. May was appointed CEO in August 2009. He joined the company in January 1999 as part of the acquisition of certain store leases of Sun TV & Appliance, Inc., serving as hhgregg's as executive vice president and chief operating officer. He was named president and COO in January 2003.
Prior to joining hhgregg, May served in a variety of roles at Sun TV & Appliance. May's extensive retail experience began at an early age. Dennis has established himself as a hands-on, customer-focused leader committed to delivering a differentiated customer experience at hhgregg stores while driving future growth for the company.
Career factoid: Dennis started his retail career at a Kmart store, announcing Blue Light specials.
Julie C. Lyle joined hhgregg in December 2013 as chief marketing officer. In this role, she is responsible for leading all marketing, advertising, brand strategy, consumer insights and e-commerce development.
Prior to joining hhgregg, Lyle served as chief marketing officer for Prudential Corporation-Asia, based in Hong Kong. Before that, Lyle held the roles of senior vice president/corporate officer, marketing, advertising and administration for Walmart Stores. While at Walmart, Lyle was responsible for all marketing strategy, private label development, channel integration, communications and in-store experience for 4,600 locations.
Lyle's drive for innovation and insight into how retailers can better connect with customers led to her selection as chairperson for the Global Retail Marketing Association's Advisory Board, a leading association for C-level executives from the world's leading retailers.

Jeffrey Pearson is senior vice president, marketing for hhgregg. He is responsible for the overall hhgregg brand strategy, creative development and execution of programs that influence daily sales at retail stores and websites. Since joining hhgregg in 2006, Pearson applied his insight regarding data-driven measurement of customer satisfaction to develop hhgregg's first customer rewards and loyalty program. He has led the marketing efforts for the opening of more than 160 hhgregg locations.
Prior to joining hhgregg, Pearson served as senior manager of purchase experience at Whirlpool and director of retail accounts at MarketStar.

Kevin Lyons senior vice president, e-commerce joined hhgregg in May 2013. In this role he leads the e-commerce team in sales, product development, online merchandising, digital marketing, social, user experience, content and design. Lyons brings a wealth of experience driving omni-channel growth. Under his leadership, the retailer is one of the fastest growing e-commerce businesses in the retail sector on the Internet Retailer Top 500, a prestigious list of the largest e-retailers in the United States, as well as the Internet Retailer's Social 500, which ranks the top e-retailers by their referral traffic from social networks.
Prior to joining hhgregg, Lyons held leadership roles with big box retailers such as Sears and Best Buy, where he built a background in multi-channel service, building great customer engagement as well as merchandise fulfillment and operations.
Career factoid: Kevin sold home and car stereos at Best Buy as his retail career jumping off point, and worked his way to store manager in two years.
Andrew S. Giesler , senior vice president, finance, also serves as the interim chief financial officer and secretary effective January 31, 2014. Giesler has been with hhgregg since May 2007, and in his current role is responsible for both the internal and external financial statements, investor relations, financial planning and analysis, annual and long-term budget and new store proformas. As head of investor relations, Giesler communicates with internal and external stakeholders on the company's earnings.
Prior to beginning his tenure at hhgregg, Giesler served in a financial position at The Steak n Shake Company, another major Indianapolis-based company.
