After weeks of intense comparing and reviewing many LED TVs, I snapped this up when the price met my goal. And I have to pat myself and LG on the back for choosing this TV. The picture is vibrant, bright and easy to calibrate with the built-in Picture Wizard. I haven't noticed any blurring or problems that some other reviewers claim on other sites. The sound is very good and I only use my surround sound for certain movies, to get deeper bases. The few times I've tried the 3D, it looks great, nearly theater quality. We connect a laptop for watching shows or connecting to the web, which is way better than overpaying for Smart Apps built in. Besides, those features don't support Flash, which alot of the web runs on. If you simply want a great looking and performing LED 3D TV, and aren't a techno-snob, then this is the best bang for your buck with plenty of connections and more features than you'll really use!

NO TruMotion Control
It claims TruMotion 120 but there are no adjustments for this feature. REALLY? Back to the store it goes.

Comments about LG 55" Class 1080p 120Hz LED HDTV:
This TV was a wedding gift to ourselves, both the wife & I absolutely love it. The picture is absolutely clear with no work having to be done to it, great amount of HDMI ports, clear sound, everything. The only "quirk" about this is you do have to be careful of how much space is on either side of the TV for it will muffle the speakers & hearing quality is not the best, we found this out the hard way but once we moved the TV a few inches over we got a way louder sound at lower volume levels. Not enough words in the english language to describe all the wonderful things about this TV & the company.

Comments about LG 55" Class 1080p 120Hz LED HDTV:
My wife and I needed to replace our old set which we had for about 8 years. We researched various name brands and models. We then visited several locations that sold electronics and checked out those on display. We decided on the LG for the picture clarity in comparison to the others that were on display. The price was GREAT also. Setup was very easy. I connected to the internet and viewed some 3D videos and we were greatly pleased with the effects. The sound is good and we may add a home theater sound system later on. We first learned of LG products from our daughter and son-in-law and have been very pleased with the LG brand.

Comments about LG 55" Class 1080p 120Hz LED HDTV:
The video section of this TV is excellent allowing user to make expert picture settings through the easy to follow menu. The color/contrast is spot on. 3D is a bonus. The audio section is a bit lacking and when volume is up and on certain frequencies, it can sound tinny. Everything works as advertise except simple link. It will not stay linked once the TV is turned off....it has to be relinked to the other components which is a pain. Otherwise, we are very pleased.

Comments about LG 55" Class 1080p 120Hz LED HDTV:
Overall a very good TV for the price point. Colors are vivid and consistent when viewing on different channels. Speakers are just OK more on the tinny side, have mine connected through a stereo system which dramatically improves the sound. 3-D is only good when viewing a DVD or a Blu-Ray Disc. Swivel base is way too rigid, swivels hard. Screen is too shiny very reflective in a bright room, would have been better with a Matte screen.
