I use this TV in the living room, but it might be better in a bedroom with less glare. It's a 50", so the picture is huge, but it's taking a long time to get used to the glare (and wavy screen when viewed from far away). Other than the glare, I like it a lot and the price was good. Switched from a 46". This is my first plasma; my other TV's are LCD, so time will tell if it was really a good buy.

Comments about LG 50" Class 720p Plasma HDTV (49.9" actual diagonal size):
We did months of research before making a purchase for my basement. My struggle was, I wanted a larger tv for my basement but did not want to spend more than $500. I went back and forth between wanting to purchase a smaller LED or LCD or go big and get the 50in plasma. Due to excellent reviews, we decided to go for the plasma. There is a glare from the sliding glass door in the day time, my 46 inch Samsung LCD does not have this issue but also cost $1500.00. Other than that one minor issue, this TV is perfect, we have no regrets. I am giving five stars because the price puts it in that category. It's beautiful, slim, with vivid colors, just stunning. Especially for watching sporting events. We love this TV. If you are struggling with best bang for the buck, look no further, this is it.

Comments about LG 50" Class 720p Plasma HDTV (49.9" actual diagonal size):
The TV is awesome! The picture is beautiful and even the sound is good for a flat-screen TV (though I'm using an LG sound bar). It has a nice thin bezel, so it doesn't look as big as it really is. It was extremely easy to set-up too. I have it hanging above a fireplace in a finished basement with an HD cable box, Blu-ray player and a Nintendo Wii. The kids are always either watching movies or playing the Wii. They love it! The only thing I wish it had were more HDMI inputs. Other than that, this is a GREAT TV! I'm extremely happy with the purchase.

Comments about LG 50" Class 720p Plasma HDTV (49.9" actual diagonal size):
Thia product is an excellent purchase. It has excellent color and picture sharpness. The sound is very good on its own and even better through a home theater system. One setback is the manual for the remote which could use more instructions for operation of the remote's functions and TV operation. Overall, I am very satisfied with this unit.

Q:
compare the LG 50pa6500 and the LG 50pa4500Asked on 2/16/2013 by golf from fairfax vaKnow the answer? Answer this question
1 answer
A:
Both tvs have same features but the LG 50" 50PA6500 is full HD 1080p, 3 hdmi inputs and 24p real cinema. The LG 50" 50PA4500 is 720p with only 2 hdmi inputs. The 1080p delivers a better picture with more pixel resolution than the 720p, and is especially good when viewing programs or movies with a lot of fast movement.Answered on 2/16/2013 by Community Answer from None
