I thought I'd never have a refrigerator I loved more than our spacious Sub Zero built-in, but our house building budget didn't allow that luxury. We're surprised to love this one even more! It holds an amazing amount of food, keeps it conveniently reachable, and seems to extend the life of our produce longer than we expect. The doors allow us to put large, wide items (like milk gallons) out of the way, and the ice maker is easy to access when you want to dump the bin to stockpile ice for a party. We'd never had a water/ice dispenser in our refrigerator door, and we just love the convenience and how well this one works for both ice and water. The pull out shelf under the produce bins is great for keeping deli meats and cheeses that aren't piled one on top of another so you can easily see what's there. The freezer is nicely compartmentalized, and adds to easy organization and visibility of everything in there so it's all easy to find. The refrigerator is actually quite nice looking, and complements the rest of our new kitchen very well. Since it is right next to a wall on the right side, the door isn't able to swing open all the way, but we can still access all our food -- even the items in the very back. We'd recommend this refrigerator to anyone who is looking for lots of space, lots of convenience, and easy organization.

Our LG LFX31925SB is a piece of junk purchased fro HHGregg om10/02/11. We are on our second service call in less than two months for freezer fan icing. The unit will start making clicking the popping noises and the generate an error code indicating freezer fan problem. And nothing on the refrigerator will work. LG customer service told us too unplug the refrigerator and open the freezer door for four hours. That worked to defrost the fan but ruined a lot of food. The local warranty service company is kind of poor. They even called my wife a liar. Real good customer service.
The freezer stopped working for the secon time on 11/26/11 and the local warranty service company made an appointment, did not show up and then refused to come out.
An LG Factory tech is now supposed to be here on 12/05/11. Ten days without a freezer is totally unacceptable.
I would not recommend this refrigerator to anyone. LG telephone service is not of much help except telling us to shut off the unit for four hours.
If you do make sure you get the Protection Plan or some kind of multi-year extended warranty.

This is a gorgoeous fridge inside and out. It is functional and has a lot of space. The only down side is the small ice maker. The trade off is a small icemaker for more space. When we have parties, we just buy a bag of ice and put it in the tub in the freezer. The stainless does show finger prints. That I don't like, but it makes me clean my fridge more often than I might otherwise. I love the lighting inside and the space in the freezer. The middle drawer in the freezer is great because smaller items don't get lost in the big bottom drawer. It's so quiet, too.

This brand was an excellent choice and I bought it band new and it has worked well. There is plenty of space, the shelves are adjustable ad so are the ones on the doors. Refrigerator accommodates drinks, milk and juices well on the doors. The refrigerator keeps odor out well and alerts you when filters need to be changed. The refrigerator has great features ad the shelves can hold a lot. The freezer is very spacious and I would recommend this brand. I'm very pleased with the refrigerator.

Bought this frig six months ago and we love it. The design is great and we really like the double doors and the wide shelves and especially, the bottom freezer. I wondered about the ice maker because of other reviews but it has worked good. Sometimes have to open the door and shake the ice container but not a big problem. I do wish the ice container was larger but we just keep some ice in another tray for extras. It does what we need for our family though. All has worked really good and we are very happy with this unit. The shelves are big and hold what we need and we have plenty of room for everything we need. The door chime does become a little bit annoying but it reminds us not to leave the doors open too long. All in all a great refrigerator for us and quiet too. We will keep using this brand in the future.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This refrigerator replaced a side by side that came with my new home. I had never had a side by side and I hated it from the very beginning. I finally got so fed up with never being able to find anything in there I replaced it with this beauty...I Love the wide open space and drawers to organize my food. I also love the cool lighting and the spacious freezer with multi drawers also.

I watched the price for a year and bought on special. My wife was dubious. Now I'm happy and so is she. Great capacity but easy to configure and get to shelving in refrigerator and freezer. The small opening compartment for frequently used items is terrific. And the interior LED lighting covers the whole interior. Quiet operation except for the very helpful "door open" chime.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
