My new LG refrigerator was delivered and after 2 days I kept finding water in my kitchen floor. The Ice Maker had a leak and was allowing the water to pool in my floor. I contacted HHGregg and they kindly replaced the fridge. I have had the 2nd refrigerator for only a few months and again I am having trouble with the Ice maker and the door. The door closes properly about half the time. It has condensation collecting on the bar that should guide the door to close properly and as a result of the condensation I now have mold also on the gaskets, and the Ice maker has ice forming inside that is not an ice cube. I contacted LG and they scheduled a repair person to come repair the product. The repairman has ordered parts and then it will be necessary to schedule another appointment for him to come back a 2nd time (which means another day off work) to get a refrigerator repaired that is only a few month old and was not an inexpensive product. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I feel this is a very poor design on the doors that will not close properly. My house has 2 adults living in it. What would it be like if I had small children that opened the doors? I had my first refigerator (another brand) for 30 years and never had a problem with it. What will this one be like at year one?

After 15 months, the top and center hinge of the mullion are broken. Both appear to be made of a cheap plastic. We now have to carefully close the left door first and then the right. My concern is that this component will fail completely thus rendering the entire refrigerator useless.

We love the LED lights and appreciate it having a water filter which are two things our prior refrigerator lacked. The ice maker is fine with sufficient capacity for our needs. The water dispenser may be a bit tricky first time used but it takes only one try to determine how to use it and it works very well. There is sufficient for us although somewhat limited storage space for taller items. It is very quiet and the temperature display for both refrigerator and freezer is a nice feature as is the door alarm. It is easy to adjust the temperatures. We love this refrigerator!

We saw this on sale as a floor model. We've wanted to replace our old side-by-side for a long time, but it just won't quit! The great price was the incentive we needed. The old fridge is now in the utility room stocked with extra party beverages. This model looks great, is super convenient, quiet & energy efficient. I especially appreciate the accurate temperature controls. When we got it home, the LED display had a few dim segments and the ice maker tray didn't always return to the home position after dumping. A simple message to LG is all it took to get these two parts replaced under warranty.

Is it possible to fall in love with a refrigerator? Yes it is. I love my refrigerator. It has great features and lots of room. I have no problem with my ice maker. Although I don't use the ice maker as often as some people, the ice still comes out just fine. Sometimes I may have to break up some of the ice that clumped together from me not using it often but it's not a major issue.

Our new LG French Door fridge is such an improvement from our side by side that aside from a few production imperfections, the product works as it says it would and its functionality is well thought out and ergonomically appealing. From the door pulls and sliding shelves, the fridge provides great visibility at eye level. The freezer works well and has good capacity for a small to average-size family. If you are a recreational cook, I recommend this product for those who like to entertain. It is a great kitchen assistant.

I have loved every feature of my new LG Refrigerator. Prior to purchasing the refrigerator, I read reviews concerning problems with the ice maker, we have had not problems with the ice maker as long as we empty the ice cube storage box when it gets full. My drinks are cold but not frozen! I have space for everything including Christmas Dinner leftovers. This refrigerator is the BEST!

After researching all refrigerators in Consumer Reports I decided on this product. It is quiet, spacious and keeps exact temperatures. I have been purchasing LG products for a number of years now and have to say that I am not impressed with this one. A lot of the parts seem to be cheaply made and do not hold up. I have had this refrigerator for about 2 years now and the 2 of the gallon storage bins broke where the clear plastic meets the white. The water filter is extremely expensive for what you get out of it. Not sure if I will go the LG route again.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Our largest doorway into the kitchen is 32 3/4 inches. Can the drawer also be taken out? I see the specs say size without door, but does the drawer also come out too? We want to get a larger refrigerator than a counter depth one but we have limitations with our door. There is no problem fitting into the spot where we have our current fridge.
