Purchased the refrigerator after a long search and this one was a blessing. The smaller version of the model fit into our limited space and filled all of the needs were hoping for plus more. We read product reviews on at least 30 other refrigerators and this greatly influenced our purchase. The positive ratings to this model are accurate and correct. The only minor issue in the reviews we found is that the water comes out slow from the door and it is true BUT the quality of the filtered water outweighs this issue. The water is clean and the ice is great. We love this frig! One suggestion... When setting the 'feet' of the frig, set the front ones a little higher so the frig leans back just slightly. This helped having to fight the freezer wanting to slide shut as you pick out your selections.

My husband and I purchased this LG fridge. We love the fridge, but we have one major problem....the water dispenser freezes. It has done it since the day we have purchased it and honestly I think it is getting worse. We have hard wood floors and the fridge is ruining my floors because every other time you use it, it sticks and keeps spraying out more water. And the little tray to catch the water is really just there for show, it doesn't catch anything but maybe a few fallen ice cubes. I love everything about the fridge, organization, style, lighting, etc. But I am starting to hate the fridge because of one main problem.

We like everything about this refrigerator with the exception of the ice maker and water dispenser. The other reviews are correct. Don't rely on the ice maker to produce enough for 'all' occasions. The water dispenser is not just slow, it is super slow!

I have technically owned this refrigerator for almost a month, but it is not in my house yet. After I had bought and paid for four appliances, it was mentioned by the delivery person that this refrigerator was deeper than most. I confess I had checked height and width carefully but had assumed the depth would be similar to the one I was discarding. Because of the configuration of my small kitchen, this refrigerator would be ungainly and obtrusive in my space. Why do manufacturers think that people with small kitchens needing a narrow refrigerator would want one that extends so far into the room? Why don’t they make cabinet depth refrigerators in 33 inch widths? LG executives and designers, take note!! I could get cabinet depth in a 30 inch refrigerator, but not 33 inch. This makes no sense to me. I’d gladly give up the extra capacity to have a refrigerator that didn’t seem like the elephant in the room. I am about to settle for another brand because that refrigerator will gain me one and one half inches of floor space. I’m that desperate! The refrigerator is beautiful and I wish I could use it, but it’s just too deep!

Our new refrigerator has been an adjustment because it has more capacity and features than our old refrigerator. It has been awesome! I love the clear shelves and drawers with the flexible slide shelves to accommodate taller items in the refrigerator. Having the gallon-size & can-size adjustable door shelves allows for multiple size items and flexibility. The freezer set-up with a slide drawer gives better visibility to my food and more storage area. The outside water & ice dispenser has been convenient and efficient with the smart cooling systems design. I would definitely recommend the LG to all my friends and family!

Purchased the refrigerator after a long search and this one was a blessing. The smaller version of the model fit into our limited space and filled all of the needs were hoping for plus more. We read product reviews on at least 30 other refrigerators and this greatly influenced our purchase. The positive ratings to this model are accurate and correct. The only minor issue in the reviews we found is that the water comes out slow from the door and it is true BUT the quality of the filtered water outweighs this issue. The water is clean and the ice is great. We love this frig! One suggestion... When setting the 'feet' of the frig, set the front ones a little higher so the frig leans back just slightly. This helped having to fight the freezer wanting to slide shut as you pick out your selections.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

As an appliance sales person I chose the best refrigerator in the market. Even though I was forced to buy the 33" wide because of space limitations, I am so happy with my LFX25978ST. Before I had a side by side, but it is a huge difference between that one and the French Door. Excellent purchase and I recommend it to everybody.

This refrigerator is a very good value. It is stylish, roomy, quite, good quality, reliable, space saver, energy efficient and does what it's designed to do very well. I would highly recommend it for any household. I've had it for 4 months and had no problems with it.

A:
The refrigerator does not store cold water, it chills it as it passes through the supply hose. If the flow rate was higher, the water would not be cold when it came out. If the stream is very weak, you might have low water pressure or some sort of blockage in the supply hose.Answered on 2/27/2013 by Community Answer from None
