This TV was to be used in my boys' bedroom, with bunkbeds, where the bottom bed is looking up at the TV. As a budget bedroom TV, overall I would say it's good with 3 exceptions. 1) One HDMI input makes it a little limiting. 2) Vertical viewing angle is terrible, if looking up at the screen. 3) Straight cable (no HD) performance is really, REALLY bad.
Otherwise the picture is good, assuming you are feeding it a HD signal, and are not looking up at it. Looking down is fine, and the horizontal viewing angle is decent. Also good is the sound, which is totally acceptable. Nothing is great, but definitely good, which is all you should really expect at this price.
Bottom line: You should be relatively happy if you don't need more than one HDMI input, and if you are not looking up at it, and if you are feeding it an HD signal. Otherwise, keep looking.

after 15 or 16 months tv started making wierd sounds with no picture did not buy extended warranty so hh gregg told me to buy my tvs elsewhere when i complained and hisense told me there was nothing they could do took tv to local repairman and he said main board was bad at least 150 to repair i think this tv is junk

This product is very useful. I use it everyday to play my video games. I also use the blue ray/ DVD player in the PS3. These are the only uses currently but I do plan on getting cable in the future. But the TV works great every time I use it.

One advantage of picking up your purchase from one of our retail locations is that you avoid paying delivery or shipping charges.
Here's how it works:
- Place an eligible item in your cart and choose the Pickup In-Store option.
- Click "Check Availability"and enter your ZIP code. Items available for Pickup In-Store are available for pickup within approximately one hour. Select the store where you'd like to pick up your purchase.
- Complete your order.
- Wait to receive confirmation e-mails:
- Order confirmation – Verifies that we've received your order.
- Ready for pickup – Confirms that your item is ready for pickup. It will also tell you what to bring to the store.
- At the store, look for the Customer Service Desk — or ask the Associate at the door to direct you to the right place.
Bring to the Store:
- Your government-issued photo ID
- The credit card used for the purchase (if you used one)
- Your order number (for a speedier processing)
