Thus far, this upper mid-grade top loading washer has perfored well and in some ways exceeded my expectations. Generally, I am a very light user, but have had to do extra laundry these past couple weeks and have found the washer rises to the task.
I wish it had a detergent dispenser-I haven't had to add detergent ahead of clothes for well over a decade, and find that task an annoyance. Price point for this might be the reason. Because it has a high spin speed, I find the noise level louder than my prior machine.
Coming from a 10 year old Maytag Neptune front loader, I was hesitant about going back to a "regular" machine, but I am very pleased that I did (great job for half the price)!

1. It takes a minimum of 1 hour to complete any size load.
2. It doesn't allow the user to change the setting, once the washer begins. If you try to make a change, it immediately empties the water out of the tub, before completing the wash cycle.
3. Yes, it has a large capacity tub, but it never fills completely. For the largest loads it only fills to the 1/2 way point.
4. The agitator is soooo slow, no matter what cycle is chosen, it moves like it's on the delicate cycle.
5. This machine causes my basement to smell horrible, after I run a few loads of laundry.
I've never been so unhappy with an appliance purchase and I will never buy a GE again. I hope to return this one!

"High efficiency" is not efficient when you have to run clothes through 2 cycles to get them clean. The agitator is called an "infuser" but does not get the job done. Does not allow manual control of water level. The long spin cycle has an annoying, loud hum. Clothes actually have come out with spots and stains they didn't have before washing. We use HE detergent, follow operating instructions and don't overload or have extremely soiled laundry. I look forward to this washer breaking down so we can get one that's effective. Want a good washer? You don't want this one!

I hate this machine. I have tried delicate, perma press, differnt water levels for my permapress clothing. The spin cycle leaves permament wrinkles. Seems the spin cycle is the same for all cycles. IF you use softner and the extra spin, forget it, might as well wash as regular. Noisy and doesn't get the clothes clean. I wish I had repaired my Cabrio.

i like the longer cycles,second rinse cycle, drying cycle is very good machine fits all my needs
a little larger would be ok and make more suds durring wash cycle.

Services included in Basic Delivery:
- 3-Hour Window: The delivery driver will call on the morning of the delivery, between 6:30am and 8:30am, to provide you with a 3-hour window for delivery. Now you can plan the rest of your day with our three-hour delivery window, and feel confident that you won't miss a meeting, errand, or appointment!
- 40-Minute Call-Ahead Service: The delivery team will call you approximately forty minutes before they arrive at your home, so there is no need to wait at home all day!
- Unpack, level and test appliances. Some exclusions may apply. See Delivery Details below for more information.
- Install icemaker prior to delivery. Complete ice hookups additional charge.
- Partial icemaker line hookup, provided water valve is directly behind refrigerator. Additional fees may apply.
- Switch Refrigerator/Dryer door prior to delivery
- Hook up h.h. gregg electrical cord and dryer venting. Purchased separately.
- Normal gas hookup, provided shut off valve is directly behind the unit. Additional charges may apply. h.h. gregg does not install gas appliances in Tennessee or Alabama
- Removal of boxes and packing materials
- Removal or movement of old appliances, electronics and fitness equipment within the home, at the time of the original delivery, on a one for one basis. h.h. gregg will not remove or move old furniture.
