hhgregg® is proud to offer hassle-free returns and exchanges. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can return it within 30 days of purchase for a refund or exchange (subject to the exclusions and terms below). Please note that some products are non-returnable or are subject to a shorter return period, as specified below. Simply return your purchase in like-new condition in the original packaging with all contents (including product manuals, accessories and warranty information) and your original receipt or packing slip.

In-store and online purchases can be returned or exchanged at any hhgregg® store location, and online orders can also be returned or exchanged by mail.

Non-returnable Items

Certain products and services may not be returned or exchanged, including the following:

  • Activation and services fees associated with subscription-based services

Shipping & Pickup In-store

Free Shipping on parcel shippable items. Applies only to Standard and Economy shipping and not Express or Freight shipping. Select Major Appliances and TV's 48" or larger are not shippable items and do not qualify for the free shipping promotion.

Whether you prefer to ship the order to your home or to pick it up at your local hhgregg store, we offer convenient options for receiving your Online order.

Ship to your home

  • Economy – Allow 10 to 12 business days for the product to arrive (includes 1 day to process the order and 8 to 10 days for transit).
  • Standard – Allow 6 to 10 business days for the product to arrive (includes 1 day to process the order and 5 to 9 days for transit).
  • Express – Allow 3 business days for the product to arrive (includes 1 day to process the order and 2 days for transit).

You will receive a shipping confirmation email when the order ships, that confirms the shipping method you selected during checkout. The confirmation email will also include your UPS tracking number. To check the status of your, click here and enter the tracking number.

Same Day Shipping Guarantee

If your approved order is received by 3:00PM EST Monday through Friday, hhgregg guarantees that your order will be shipped the day the order is received! Orders received after 3:00PM EST or on Saturday or Sunday will need one day for processing and will ship the following business day.

Shipping Costs

Shipping cost is calculated on a "per item" or "per pound" basis and is based on the shipping method that you choose. The shipping cost will be shown in checkout before you submit the order.

Pickup In-Store

Avoid paying shipping and delivery charges by picking up your online purchase at one of our retail store locations. Here's how it works:

1. From a specific product detail page, enter your zip code to check the availability of the product that you wish to purchase. If you are a registered user, and are logged in, your zip code will already be visible and your fulfillment options will be displayed.

2. Next, choose the Pickup In-Store fulfillment option and select the store where you want to pick up your purchase. The following pickup options are available:

  • Pickup In-Store– Place your order online and pick it up at a local hhgregg store where the product is available today!
  • Ship to Store – Place the order online, and we will ship it from our warehouse to your local hhgregg store, where you can pick it up on the date provided.

3. Complete your order.

4. Wait to receive the following e-mail confirmations before heading to the store:

  • Order confirmation – Verification that we have received your order.
  • Ready for pickup – Confirmation that your item is ready for pickup. Pickup In-store orders are typically available for pickup within approximately one hour.

In order to pick up your online purchase, you will need to take the following items to the store:

  • A government-issued photo ID
  • Your order number
  • The credit card used to make the purchase

You may also designate an alternate person to pick up your order. The alternate person must have a government issued photo ID and the order number.

Upon arrival at the store, locate the Customer Service counter and let an hhgregg associate know that you are there to pick up your online purchase. Your order will be held at the pickup store for 30 days. To ensure your security, if you do not pick up your order within this timeframe, we will cancel the order and issue a refund in the original form of payment.

Extended Delivery Zones
Basic delivery applies only to those zip codes within our normal delivery area. hhgregg will deliver to your home if you are outside of our normal delivery zone. The cost for Basic local delivery (within 20 miles of our local stores or distribution centers) is $79.99. Extended zones are an additional fee of $25.00. To find out if you live within our normal delivery area, you can enter your zip code on a product's detail page to check coverage or Contact Us via email.

Haul Away
Haul Away service is an additional fee of $19.99 per item. Haul Away service includes haul away of a like product purchased for delivery and does not include the haul away of installed products such as dishwashers and Over the Range Microwaves. All products to be hauled away need to be disconnected to be eligible for Haul Away Service. Furniture is not eligible for the Haul Away service.

Services included in Basic Delivery:

  • 3-Hour Window: The delivery driver will call the evening prior to the delivery, between 7pm and 9pm, to provide you with a 3-hour window for delivery. Now you can plan the rest of your day with our three-hour delivery window, and feel confident that you won't miss a meeting, errand, or appointment!
  • 40-Minute Call-ahead Service: The delivery team will call you approximately forty minutes before they arrive at your home, so there is no need to wait at home all day!
  • Unpack, level and test appliances. Some exclusions may apply. See Delivery Details below for more information.
  • Install icemaker prior to delivery. Complete ice hookups additional charge.
  • Partial icemaker line hookup, provided water valve is directly behind refrigerator. Additional fees may apply.
  • Switch Refrigerator/Dryer door prior to delivery.
  • Hook up hhgregg electrical cord and dryer venting. Purchased separately.
  • Normal gas hookup, provided shut off valve is directly behind the unit. Additional charges may apply. hhgregg does not install gas appliances in Tennessee or Alabama or other areas where permits are required.
  • Removal of boxes and packing materials.
  • We cannot disassemble old units or remove stair banister or door frames to remove old appliances.
  • Gregg Appliances, Inc. CANNOT be held responsible for any damage to property during removal of old products.

Standard Freight Shipments

Select major appliances, furniture, and TV's 48" or larger are considered oversized items and hhgregg utilizes freight carriers to ship and deliver those items to your home. hhgregg offers the following services for freight shipments. Pricing for the service will vary by product type and size. Price is displayed at time of purchase.

Please allow up to 14 days for the product to arrive. On the designated delivery day, ensure that someone is home to accept the delivery. A signature will be required. You should inspect the visible appearance of your shipment and report any dents, holes or other physical damage to the driver immediately or call the carrier within 24 hours at 1-866-974-7344. To check the status of your freight shipment, click here and enter your order number in the customer code field.

Threshold Delivery

Your product will be shipped via freight to the delivery center nearest your delivery address. Once we confirm receipt at the local delivery center an hhgregg authorized representative will reach out to schedule the delivery date with you. With Threshold Delivery shipment the delivery team will deliver your merchandise and set it in the first dry room in the home. The product will be left in carton. Please measure all entry ways the product(s) will be going through to ensure the product will fit through the doorways while in the carton. The delivery team will not remove any doors during the delivery.

Please allow up to 14 days for the product to arrive. On the designated delivery day, ensure that someone is home to accept the delivery. A signature will be required. The product will then be opened and inspected. Our delivery team will gladly haul away all packing materials. You will be responsible for making the final connection or installing the product.
