How do I check my status of my rebate?

Click here to use our online tracking tool to check the status of your rebate after you have mailed in the rebate form and supporting information. Rebate processing normally takes 8-10 weeks. If you have not received your rebate within 6 weeks, visit www.rebatetrack.com/quick/track/hhgregg or call 1-800-318-7972.

What is hhgregg's return and exchange policy?

hhgregg® is proud to offer hassle-free returns and exchanges. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can return it within 30 days of purchase for a refund or exchange (subject to the exclusions and terms below). Please note that some products are non-returnable or are subject to a shorter return period, as specified below. Simply return your purchase in like-new condition in the original packaging with all contents (including product manuals, accessories and warranty information) and your original receipt or packing slip.

In-store and online purchases can be returned or exchanged at any hhgregg® store location, and online orders can also be returned or exchanged by mail.

Non-returnable Items

Certain products and services may not be returned or exchanged, including the following:

  • Labor, delivery and/or installation services
  • Activation and services fees associated with subscription-based services
  • Pre-paid cards (e.g. gift, music, photo, video, gaming or phone cards)
  • Personalized items
  • Sony consumer electronics
  • Vizio product
  • Samsung (online only product)
  • Furniture picked up at store
  • Mattress (no refunds and exchanges are not valid in some states)

Shipping & Pickup In-store

hhgregg will no longer offer shipping services starting April 8, 2017. Please visit your local hhgregg store.

Pickup In-Store

1. From a specific product detail page, enter your zip code to check the availability of the product that you wish to purchase. If you are a registered user, and are logged in, your zip code will already be visible and your fulfillment options will be displayed.

2. Next, choose the Pickup In-Store fulfillment option and select the store where you want to pick up your purchase. The following pickup options are available:

  • Pickup In-Store– Place your order online and pick it up at a local hhgregg store where the product is available today!

3. Complete your order.

4. Wait to receive the following e-mail confirmations before heading to the store:

  • Order confirmation – Verification that we have received your order.
  • Ready for pickup – Confirmation that your item is ready for pickup. Pickup In-store orders are typically available for pickup within approximately one hour.

In order to pick up your online purchase, you will need to take the following items to the store:

  • A government-issued photo ID
  • Your order number
  • The credit card used to make the purchase

You may also designate an alternate person to pick up your order. The alternate person must have a government issued photo ID and the order number.

Upon arrival at the store, locate the Customer Service counter and let an hhgregg associate know that you are there to pick up your online purchase. Your order will be held at the pickup store for 30 days. To ensure your security, if you do not pick up your order within this timeframe, we will cancel the order and issue a refund in the original form of payment.

Rebates

Whether you make a purchase online or at one of our retail store locations, mail-in rebates are available on many of the products at hhgregg. The following types of rebates are available:

How to Redeem Rebates

Printable mail-in rebate forms are available in our Rebate Center or on the product detail pages of products that have rebates. Complete the form as soon after the purchase date as possible. Mail the rebate form, along with any other required documentation to the address listed on the form. Please do not mail the form to hhgregg, as it will delay the rebate process.

CheckAGAIN™

If your check is accepted, we will process it through CheckAGAIN™, a nationwide check authorization service. When one of our cashiers processes a check, the customer's check information is automatically sent to CheckAGAIN. CheckAGAIN must authorize the check for the transaction to be complete.

If the check is returned unpaid, your signature gives permission to debit your checking account electronically for the original check amount plus a service fee up to $25. Payment by check constitutes acceptance of the terms.

The hhgregg gift card is not replaceable if lost or stolen. The bearer is responsible for its loss or theft.

hhgregg Gift Card Redemption Terms and Conditions

hhgregg gift cards are good toward future in-store purchases at any of our retail stores. hhgregg gift cards may not be used online as a method of payment.

Taxable States

Who Qualifies For Tax Exempt Purchases

Nonprofit organizations

Schools, public charities, churches and other religious entities, and other nonprofit organizations generally qualify under federal law. A tax exemption certificate is required.

Individuals

Foreign diplomats, agents of foreign governments, and other individuals may be exempt from paying state and state-collected sales tax. A sales tax exemption card, such as a federal government purchase card or foreign diplomat card, is required.

Resale businesses

State law exempts items that are purchased with the intent to be directly resold to another customer. Items or supplies used to run your business are not tax exempt. A resale certificate is required.

Federal and state governments

The U.S. government, its agencies, and its instrumentalities may make exempt purchases of goods and services. An exemption certificate or copy of government purchase card is required.

Payment Method Restrictions For Tax Exempt Purchases

Many states require organizations, schools, churches and hospitals to use organizational funds. This means that the credit card used must be issued by the organization to receive tax exempt status. The personal credit card of an employee working for a tax exempt organization cannot be used.

How Tax Is Calculated

At certain times of the year, some states offer an annual sales tax holiday, which makes sales taxes temporarily exempt for various items such as clothes, shoes and computers and appliances.   • Accidental Damage from Handling (ADH): In the normal and customary use of products, damages can occur. ADH covers your cameras, camcorders and other select products from breakdowns due to drops, spills, cracked lenses and screens.
  • Power Surge Protection: Breakdowns resulting from power surges are covered. Manufacturer's warranties do not offer this protection.
  • Food Spoilage: In the event that your refrigerator or freezer fails to cool, due to functional part failure, you may qualify for up to $250 toward your food loss replacement.
  • Transferable: Coverage is transferable if the product is sold or given as a gift, at no extra charge.
