Since we did not want to break the bank on a TV for the playroom, this was a great find, even better, it has a built in DVD player. We purchased this TV/DVD combo with full knowledge of the fact that we were not getting high quality picture and sound. For better viewing purposes, I highly suggest mounting TV on an adjustable/pivot wall mount to reduce the black screen when viewing from floor/lower level. For safety purposes, especially if intentions are to use this in a childs room, since it is a light TV and can be easily moved or knocked over, I would definately mount to the wall with a safety strap or on a bracket wall mount. 4 Stars because it well suits our needs.

This tv had a really good quality picture but the sound is horrible. I have a small transister radio that sounds better. The remote has way to many buttons and they are all the same size. It would be impossible to use in low light. We also couldn't find remote codes to use out Directv universal remote. The source functions on the remote didn't work I had to use a button on the tv to select the source. We returned it after a day.

My daughter and I use this in our computer room which is where we usually spend our evenings. The sound system on it makes it sound like it is coming through a tin can. The picture and color is not that great even after many hours trying to finesse the settings.
