Shipping Methods

We offer two methods for shipping your orders from hhgregg.com:

  • Standard – 4 to 8 business days: Includes 1 day for processing and 3 to 7 days for transit.
  • Express – 3 business days: Includes 1 day for processing and 2 days for transit.


Shipping Carriers

hhgregg partners with UPS to ship your packages. Both Standard and Express shipping orders are shipped by UPS. You'll receive a shipping confirmation email that will confirm which shipping method you selected during checkout.

Shipping Costs

Shipping cost is calculated on a "per item" or "per pound" basis and is based on the shipping method you select (Standard or Express).

Special Addresses

hhgregg currently does not ship to the following locations:

  • P.O. Boxes
  • Alaska
  • Hawaii
  • Military Addresses
  • International Locations


Pickup In-Store 

One advantage of picking up your purchase from one of our retail locations is that you avoid paying delivery or shipping charges.

Here's how it works:

  1. Place an eligible item in your cart and choose the Pickup In-Store option.
  2. Click "Check Availability"and enter your ZIP code. Items available for Pickup In-Store are available for pickup within approximately one hour. Select the store where you'd like to pick up your purchase.
  3. Complete your order.
  4. Wait to receive confirmation e-mails:
    • Order confirmation – Verifies that we've received your order.
    • Ready for pickup – Confirms that your item is ready for pickup. It will also tell you what to bring to the store.
  5. At the store, look for the Customer Service Desk — or ask the Associate at the door to direct you to the right place.


Bring to the Store:

  1. Your government-issued photo ID
  2. The credit card used for the purchase (if you used one)
  3. Your order number (for a speedier processing)


Ship to Store 

You can also avoid additional shipping charges by having a product shipped from our distribution centers to your local store for pickup within 96 hours of your purchase. 

Here's how it works:

  1. Place an eligible item in your cart and choose the Pickup In-Store option.
  2. Click "Check Availability"and enter your ZIP code. Items available for Ship to Store will be available for pickup within 96 hours. Select the store where you'd like to pick up your purchase.
  3. Complete your order.
  4. Wait to receive confirmation e-mails:
    • Order confirmation – Verifies that we've received your order. This email will also indicate approximately how long it will take for your item to be available for Pickup In-Store. 
    • Ready for pickup – Confirms that your item is ready for pickup. It will also tell you what to bring to the store.
  5. At the store, look for the Customer Service Desk — or ask the Associate at the door to direct you to the right place.

Bring to the Store:

  1. Your government-issued photo ID
  2. The credit card used for the purchase (if you used one)
  3. Your order number (for a speedier processing)

Friends & Family Pickup 

Family and Friends are unable to pickup an online order. Only the cardholder may pickup an order in store.

Pickup In-Store and Ship to Store Price Match Guarantee

If you purchase an item online choosing in-store pick up, and the item is offered at a lower price when you pick it up, you can utilize our Online Price Guarantee and will be charged the lower price.

Change Your Shipping or Pickup Information

To change your shipping or pickup options after you've placed an order, call 1-866-974-7344, Monday through Friday from 8AM to 6PM EST, or Contact Us.

To switch from shipping to store pickup, call within one hour of placing your order.

To switch from store pickup to shipping, call any time.

Canceling a Pickup In-Store or Ship to Store Order

To cancel your order, call 1-866-974-7344, Monday through Friday from 8AM to 6PM EST, or Contact Us. Please have your order numer handy. 

Your order will be held at the pickup store for 30 days. To ensure your security, if you do not pick up your order within this timeframe, we'll cancel the order and issue a refund to your original form of payment.

Canceling an Order

NOTE: Items cannot be canceled online if they have already been processed for shipping, home delivery or store pickup/ship to store.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

If you received a damaged, defective or incorrect item, please call 1-866-974-7344 for assistance  or Contact Us. If you choose to return the item, you will receive a credit. You may then choose to purchase a replacement item in the store or online. 

Tracking Your Order

To check your order status:

  1. Sign In to My Account
  2. Select Order History
  3. Select Details under the approprite order number
  4. Click on the tracking number under "Shipping information"


This will take you to the UPS site, where you can see shipping status details.

Changing Your Shipping Information

You can change your shipping information online anytime before you place an order. But once you've placed an order, shipping information can only be changed before your order enters our shipping process.

To change your shipping information for future orders:

  1. Sign In to My Account
  2. Select 'Shipping Addresses' on the left
  3. You may edit or add as many different shipping addresses as you'd like
