One thing I've always liked about the PowerShot line is Canon continues to make available a few cameras that take normal, replaceable AA batteries (not just an internal rechargeable). This is important for me for my usual use, where recharging is not possible. This model has a greatly improved 12x optical zoom for a replaceable battery camera. I do have to remember to flip up the flash on this newest camera, as it wasn't necessary on my old one. (Just a new routine) I feel this is a real nice point and shoot, and has some fun features like monochrome, toy camera and other effects. I look forward to having some fun with this.
